So, DA, it's been two years. I just realised I've reached 10,000 views sometime in the last two days as well, so I thought those two factors were cause enough to write a new journal entry. I just want to say thank you. Not for the favourites, comments or watches. But to the people out there who have actually understood and/or appreciated an image I've created. That's what makes me smile, when someone describes how a picture of mine enables them to feel, or what it reminds them of. That's pretty much all I want out of my images, the capability of being relatable. Even if it's just one person who feels a connection, it's completely worth it.

I just finished ordering a new lens for myself, the Canon 50mm F1.8 II. A pretty cheap standard lens, but I can't wait to have a fiddle with the fantastic shallow depth of field, and its' capability in low light situations. Hello flowers. Also, around two months ago I got a dingy little fisheye to have a play around with. It's been interesting, although I haven't really been too motivated to upload anything that was shot with it, apart from http://mish-ael.deviantart.com/art/Blood-of-the-Swan-132695509 but it happens to be all the way zoomed in and without the actual fisheye effect, so meh, I don't really include that. Just recently I've been given two old cameras, a Kodak Vest Pocket Autographic (unuseable) and a Praktina FX (useable). I've never played with film before, excited and anxious :giggle: Other than that, I stayed a night down in Sydney two weeks ago for a Nine Inch Nails concert. Which was, simply unbelievable. They literally blew the power out :D I also have to choose twelve or-so pictures (by Tuesday :paranoid:) to have printed out at A3 size for my portfolio, so I'd really appreciate any suggestions of which of my deviations to pick. I may really love the look and feel of something personally, but to other people it might be the complete o
